The flute is the cloak, the guitar the cluster, the harp the casing...

At the end of the piece, the flutist whispers the consonants from a phrase that came to me in Spanish: Dentro de ella se recogerá....

This piece began as a muddled painting (seen on the cover), working out sentiments of desolation, error, deprivation....

It was premiered by members of International Contemporary Ensemble for the 2020 Connecticut SummerFest.
